Nobody knows this answer but the DEA. They declined to do it this summer after conducting a formal review of the issue. My guess, is that this happens sometime during the next year, but not right away.
A more pertinent point right now, is who Trump will put in as Attorney General. If its Christie, the cannabis industry will be in a difficult spot potentially, since he has threatened to crack down and still has the laws on his side.
