: Patients must first be certified by a registered practitioner. Upon certification, a patient must login to https://my.ny.gov/ and click on the "Health Applications" icon and then click othe "Medical Marijuana Data Management System" link to register. Patients who do not have a ny.gov account will need to click the "Don’t Have An Account" button to create a personal ny.gov ID before proceeding. Patients will be required to provide proof of their identity and residency during the application process. Required documents can be found on the NYDOH website. There is a $50 fee to register but the NYDOH is currently waiving the registration fee. At the appropriate time select "Bill Me Later" and the fee will be waived.
