Q&A

I'm new to using cannabis. What should I look for when choosing a vape pen?

Great question! The first thing you might want to do is figure out how you want to feel. Most people that are new to cannabis don’t want to just ‘get high’ but are looking for specific results based on their needs. For example, if you have muscle pain, you might be looking for something that will be more physically relaxing. If you are looking to increase focus, you might want a product that is more energizing and uplifting. In addition to effect, you’ll also want to make sure that you’re using products that are lab tested and pesticide free. Dispensaries don’t always have that information on hand, so some online research (like asking questions on HelloMD!) is super useful!

Since there are so many confusing choices for new patients, and because most of them are versions of the same thing, we created our Evoxe vaporizers with special blends of essential oils that direct the psychoactive experience in a purpose-driven way. When you want to be uplifted and energized, we suggest our ENGAGE vaporizer that blends Sativa Oil with Peppermint, Lime, Cypress and Cinnamon oils. On the relaxing side, we blend Lavender, Chamomile and Orange with Indica oil in our DEEP vaporizer. We have two non-psychoactive CBD products which patients have reported using for pain relief, anti-inflammation and as a sleep aid and relaxant without any of the altered senses of THC, and a Hybrid called STEALTH that provides a smooth experience that allows you to set your own course.

Essential oils and the principles of aromatherapy have been used for thousands of years by many cultures, so combining them with cannabis just made perfect sense to us. Our motto is #ChooseTheMood because we wanted to take the mystery out of medicating by incorporating familiar ingredients into our products for a consistent and reliable experience.

You can learn about our different blends on our Products page here on HelloMD, or on our website at EvoxeLabs.com. Thanks!
