There is no difference between CBD for cats, dogs or humans, CBD is CBD; so, you can use CBD for pets or humans.
The primary consideration would be dosage. And although there are no specific guidelines for cat dosages,
in a 2018 study, researchers from the College of Veterinary Medicine, Cornell University concluded that
2mg CBD/kg, twice daily can help increase comfort and activity in dogs with osteoarthritis.
That works out to about:
1mg of CBD per every pound, twice daily.
So a 5lb cat would take about 5mg of CBD twice daily.
