Hi there!
That is a great ratio for autism. Also, when considering side effects, rather than the ratio, the mgs of THC is the main factor to consider in regards to side effects. Those drops contain 0.34mgs of CBD and 0.17mg of THC/ drop.
I would recommend that you start off with 6 drops every 2 to 4 hours. That would provide 1mg of THC per dose. That likely won’t be enough to notice any difference. You can then go up in dosage in 6 drop steps — so next dose to try would be 12 drops every 2 to 4 hours, and so on.
However, those drops should be held under the tongue for one to two minutes before swallowing. If that becomes a problem, I would recommend that you switch to an edible.
Care By Design also offers a 2:1 chocolate bar. Each piece contains 10mg of CBD and 5mg of THC. If you decide to go that route, I recommend that you cut each piece into 4 pieces — each 1/4 piece should contain 2.5mg of CBD and 1.25mg of THC. Similar to the drops, take 1/4 of a piece every 2 to four hours. If you don’t notice any change, you may increase by 1/4 piece at a time.
