When the weather gets chilly, it’s a good excuse to indulge in hearty meals and delicious, hot drinks. And chai tea is one of the very best. It’s a rich, fragrant tea blend that includes healthy spices:
- Cinnamon, which can help lower blood sugar and has anti-inflammatory properties
- Cardamom, used for centuries to help treat depression and digestive issues
- Ginger, the spice that helps alleviate nausea and fights fungal infections
Chai lattes are regular staples on coffeehouse menus, but they can easily be made at home at a fraction of the cost. Plus, making it at home means you can add the perfect dose of cannabis oil to pack in even more health benefits.
