3. Cake Batter & Chocolate Chip CBD Cookies

This recipe requires the dough to sit in the fridge for at least 2 hours (or up to 4 days), so plan ahead.

Ingredients for Cake Batter & Chocolate Chip CBD Cookies

  • 1 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cup vanilla boxed cake mix
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 90 mL of CBD oil
  • 3/4 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips (You can use white chocolate chips or a half and half mixture)
  • 1/2 cup red and green sprinkles

How to Make Cake Batter & Chocolate Chip CBD Cookies

  1. Combine the dry ingredients (cake mix, flour, baking soda) together in a large bowl and set it aside.
  2. In another large mixing bowl, add the softened butter and cannabis oil together and cream until they’re combined.
  3. Then add both of the sugars and cream these together with the butter until they’re combined; then add an egg and do the same thing.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and add the vanilla and mix vigorously for about 1 minute.
  5. Slowly add the dry ingredients while still mixing until combined.
  6. Toss in whatever mixture of chocolate chips you’ve decided on and the sprinkles.
  7. Tightly wrap the dough and store in the fridge for at least 2 hours. (The dough will be very sticky, so this step is important to be able to form actual cookies.)
  8. After the dough has sufficiently chilled, preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  9. Line cookie sheets with parchment paper and dole out 1.5 tbsp of dough per cookie, with 2 inches of space between each one. Bake the cookies for 10–12 minutes or until golden brown.
