The best way is just to place it right under your tongue. Most come with a dropper for this purpose, and the taste is really not usually a problem.
Alternatively, you can add it to a drink. I don't believe there is an interaction with fruit juice or anything similar you may use to mask the taste that would prevent this.
Tinctures are good in this way, in that they are easy to take and easy to be accurate on dosage. You may also find they are absorbed by the body faster than edibles, and therefore faster to take effect.
Edibles on the other hand come on slow, and end up strong and long. You need to be really careful therefore not to end up overdosing on edibles. I recommend tinctures for this reason.
