I have a vapexhale & hydrabomb. I'm really happy with the vape, but it makes a really obnoxious whistling noise when I'm drawing. Is this indicative of a defect in the glass, or is this expected?
Answer - dataeater
The whistling is caused by turbulence in the airflow. This helps the user know they are maximizing extraction. The sound may go away over time, but what I do is I cover the intake on the bottom of the EVO with some medical gauze. It is inert and also helps muffle the whistling.

ya mine did that at the beginning too, i also questioned it. over time it either lessened or i got used to it. if you want less whistling, dont inhale as hard.
